The Australian Golf Club offers world class facilities, excellent cuisine and the finest service and traditional attention to detail that members expect from the oldest, and arguably the most prestigious, golf club in Australia.
Reporting to the Board, your mandate is to lead the Club's staff of 40 professionals to deliver exceptional standards of membership service and facilities throughout the Club. Beyond an obvious enthusiasm for golf, knowledge of best practice in food and beverage service, commercial acumen and financial management, it will be your communication skills, inspirational leadership and dedication to delighting members that will ensure your success in this role.
You will preferably be degree qualified and have at least 5 years experience in a senior management role. Whilst this experience will most likely have been gained in the hospitality industry, potentially at another prestigious Golf Club, in a luxury resort or membership based club, we will consider backgrounds in commercial General Management. Further, you must demonstrate the ability to liaise effectively with both Members and the Board, plan and execute events and be accountable for the entire membership experience.
