General Manager - Nambucca Island Golf Club (NSW)
Nambucca Island Golf Club is situated on the banks of the Nambucca River, and is the only Island Golf Club in Australia. It is approximately halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, and 35 minutes South of Coffs Harbour.
Facilities include: an 18 hole Golf Course; two Squash Courts and a Club House overlooking the river making it ideal for all types of functions including weddings, birthdays and corporate days. We have over 1,100 members in the full playing, squash and social categories.
We are looking to attract a hospitality professional with a strong financial background to oversee the smooth day to day operations of the Club in the role of Secretary Manager.
Duties Include:
- Supervision of permanent and casual staff both on and off course.
- Superior people and communication skills.
- Computer literate and able to prepare monthly and yearly financial statements.
- Preparing rosters for staff and volunteers.
- Sound knowledge of OCH issues and Registered Club Act.
- Preparing Statutory Reports for Government Agencies when required.
- Marketing and Promotional activities, both on and off course.
- Liaison with the Board of Directors in ensuring the effective and efficient running of the Club.
The successful candidate will ideally have had a minimum 2 years experience in Club Management and will be looking for an opportunity to work with the Board to take the Club well in to the future. The location is simply exhilarating with a round of golf often 'interrupted' by the passing of dolphins, pelicans or cormorants - not to mention the Sea Eagles, Osprey and Kites flying overhead!

General Manager - Port Kembla Golf Club (NSW)
Port Kembla Golf Club located 90 minutes south of Sydney is an 18 hole tree lined course with a driving range and function facilities. The Club is a leading course in the Illawarra, is profitable, has 1200 members, an annual turnover of $2.4M, three functions rooms, bistro seating and large lounge area.
The Board is seeking the services of an astute business manager for the role of General Manager of the Club. With full accountability for profitability; the setting of strategic direction and the smooth, efficient and effective running of the day to day operation of the Club. The General Manager will be required to be on the premises during peak trade, (Friday and Saturday and Major Events) to ensure that delivery of service standards are maintained.
Duties and tasks Include (but are not limited to):

General Manager - Campbelltown Golf Club (NSW)
Campbelltown Golf Club is in the final stages of amalgamating with one of the state’s largest and most successful clubs, Campbelltown Catholic Club. The Campbelltown Catholic Club group includes Aquafit Fitness & Leisure, Rydges Campbelltown and The Cube Convention and Entertainment Centre. The General Manager of the Golf Club will report to the Chief Executive Officer of the Catholic Club with autonomous resonsibility for the day to day management of the golf club and course operations.
With a dedicated staff of 40 and a voluntary golf members advisory committee this is a truly unique opportunity for a highly motivated, professional golf club manager to take Campbelltown Golf Club to the next level.
Campbelltown Golf Club is a par 70, 18 hole championship golf course nestled amongst the Glen Alpine housing estate, the first of its kind in Australia. The golf course is complimented by the recently refurbished clubhouse which offers magnificent views over the 18th hole. Clubhouse facilities include a gaming installation of 44 machines, function and dining rooms, outdoor areas, TAB and bar service.
The General Manager will be experienced working in a golf club environment, making sure that members receive outstanding service each and every visit. You will be able to communicate in a professional and effective manner, have strong financial and general management skills and the ability to further develop the business.
The salary package is attractive and commensurate with the responsibilities of the role, the club is financially sound and the opportunities to grow the business are endless. The ordinary days of work are Tuesday through Saturday.
