President's Message
It is with great honour and excitement that I accept the position of President of Golf Management Australia. I was pleasantly surprised to see such high attendance at every session of the conference, reflecting how keen managers are to learn more ways to improve the performance of their clubs, especially in these challenging times.  It is also a tribute to Gordon Hurford, GMA WA and EECW for making the conference as relevant and comprehensive as it was.

I would like to thank Max Mason for his extraordinary contribution to GMA and I look forward to his continuing support.  I also look forward to working with fellow Directors David Allen, Gordon Hurford, David Haggett, Paul Sutcliffe, Jeff Zadow and Max for the ensuing year.

As highlighted at the conference, GMA's mission is to represent Golf Club Management in Australia and through state associations, provide professional development and support for members.  We will be working feverishly to take action on several fronts to achieve this and look forward to your support in doing so.

I wish you all a good golfing season and hope to see you at the Australian Open or throughout the year.
